Glass Garden (after Ryoanji)

This installation was inspired by the Zen garden at the Ryoanji temple in Kyoto. The arrangement of hanging glass is based on the position of the garden’s fifteen stones, and the rectilinear color films on the glass barrier surrounding the upper floor refer to the colors of the spring landscape of Ryoanji.
